Our Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, Accountability and Learning services in conflict-affected, violent and challenging contexts combine psychological understanding with analytical rigour to generate evidence, monitor and evaluate, measure outcomes, learn and inform. This work includes:

• Conducting rigorous mixed-methods impact evaluations using experimental, quasi-experimental and theory-based approaches to measure the impact of projects and programmes for donors, foundations, and governments.

• Conducting baseline, midterm, endline reviews and evaluations, systematic reviews, appreciative enquiries, strategic assessments, real time reviews, and training and capacity-building evaluations.

• Provide M&E partnerships for organisations in grant funded projects and programmes. An example of our successful partnerships is an independant process, outcome and impact evaluation of a sports and mentoring intervention for girls at risk of group, gang and associated exploitation across Manchester, UK (Comic Relief / Manchester Metropolitan University): Horan, R. (2022). Getting out for Good: Preventing Gangs Through Participation. Phase Two Evaluation.

• Strengthening project data quality to improve reliability and accountability.

• Co-creation of MERL / MEAL frameworks, theories of change and performance metrics for global programmes.

• We support collaboration, learning, and adaptation and facilitate adaptive management.

• Ethical, sound, participatory and trauma informed approaches.
